on the scene of that deadly shooting where the heartbreak is just unimaginable. Good morning, Rebecca.

Unimaginable, Deborah. Good morning to you and the crew there in New York.

I came home to a city in pain. I am here in front of that church at Annunciation Catholic

school where two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed when an assailant opened fire through the church's windows during the first mass of the new school year.

17 other people were wounded and we're learning more about those victims this morning and the shooter

who police say died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. This neighborhood and the entire city coming together after this horrific attack. This morning, the urgent hunt for a motive in Minneapolis after a lone shooter sprayed bullets into a church at Annunciation Catholic school,

killing two children, ages 8 and 10, and injuring at least 17 others, mostly children.

This worship service was marking the first week of school.

The sheer cruelty and cowardice of firing into a church full of children is absolutely

incomprehensible.

There's also a critical patient in the rear of the church.

Police say the suspect armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol approached the side of the church at the beginning of mass just before 8.30 a.m. Wednesday.
