It's first thing with Kevin Mano today is World Health Day. It's all about global health awareness.

It's also national beer day, but let's just focus on the health one right now.

April 7th, it's the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization or the who, as they are often called,

the theme this year for World Health Day is our planet, our health.

Get healthy, get happy, everybody jump up and down, get healthy, get happy.

All right, let's get into it. Again, we start with an update out of Ukraine.

We are now six weeks into Russia's invasion of the country.

The major story this week has been the cause for Putin to be put on trial for war crimes.

Yesterday's White House announced new sanctions against Russia.

President Biden said, quote,

''responsible nations have to come together to hold these perpetrators accountable.'' I will say, though, from what I understand the process for prosecuting war crimes is not quick or easy, but they are getting started.

Meanwhile, yesterday in Marial Bowl, after days of failed, attempts more than 500 Ukrainians were evacuated.

The Red Cross was able to get them out, but it is believed that thousands of civilians are still in the city.
