0:13.5	Well, they're on, now they're off, at least they're paused. I'm talking about terrorists when it comes to most countries.
0:19.7	Yesterday, President Trump announced in a
0:21.4	tweet, the White House followed up with a formal statement saying that the tariffs that had been
0:26.4	set by the White House variously for countries all over the globe, that they were on hold, a 90-day
0:32.3	hold with the exception of a 10% continuance in terms of a constant tariff, with the exception of China.
0:40.4	And at least at one point yesterday, the tariff rate against China was well over 100%.
0:45.0	The president and the White House are reconstruing the entire issue related to tariffs as being,
0:51.6	at least for now, primarily about corrections when it comes to China.
0:56.2	It is right now primarily about marshalling energy against the unfair trading practices of China,
1:03.6	the incredible trade imbalance of China. Now, by the way, why is China in this position?
1:09.3	Is it just because of low wages? Well, it's because of more than that.
1:12.8	And this has been an issue of deep concern for Americans administration after administration, president after president.
1:20.2	It has been an urgent concern of President Donald Trump. And that is this trade imbalance has been orchestrated by the Communist Party there in China
1:28.4	in such a way that it has been injurious to the entire world economy, a great distortion field,
1:34.7	given the fact that China has basically been flooding the world with very cheap goods. How does that
1:40.8	happen? Well, here's where the moral concern comes in.
1:45.0	And it's a political concern on the part of nations.
1:48.2	It has been an issue of resentment for the United States, but also European nations.
1:52.8	I'm talking about the fact that for the course of the last several decades, China has claimed to be two things at once.
1:59.6	And China has claimed to be a vast global economy,
2:05.1	a vast global economic superpower. And undoubtedly it is when it comes to China and the United
