Last evening, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos released his annual Amazon shareholder letter, something

And for the first time, Bezos revealed something that he has never revealed before, the number of people who subscribe to Amazon's Prime Membership Program.

In the letter, Bezos announced that for the first time, Prime now exceeds 100 million members worldwide,

and in 2017 alone, Amazon added more Prime members than in any prior year of the program's existence.
