It's Thursday, November 10th, and this is your morning wire, after an update.

The Consumer Price Index went up 7.7% between October of last year and this year, revealing

that inflation may be slowing down.

Energy, food, and housing costs are still up as winter months' approach.

According to E.J. and Tony of the Heritage Foundation, inflation has effectively cost families

$7,400 in income under the Biden administration.

The president stated this week that he can't definitively say he will be able to curb rising

prices.

I can't guarantee that we're going to be able to get rid of inflation, but I do think we can.

Votes are still being counted in Arizona and Nevada as the country waits to find out which

party will control the Senate.

Right now, Democrat incumbent Markelli of Arizona currently leads GOP challenger Blake

Masters, while in Nevada, Republican candidate Adam Blacksalt leads incumbent Senator

Catherine Cortez Masto.

Should those races split, the GOP would have 50 seats in the Senate, while the Democrats

would have 49.

Meaning that all eyes would be on Georgia's runoff election between Democrat Raphael Warnock

and Republican Herschel Walker.

Early voting begins two days after Thanksgiving and in-person election day is December 6th.
