All right, welcome back to Locked-on NBA Daily. I'm Wes Goldberg. That's Matt Moore, running a little two-man game today without our usual co-host Hayes with us. But we do have a ton to get to today. The Pistons go up 2-0 over the Cavaliers. We've got some coaching rumors to get to, Matt. We've got a couple of whats that I want to throw your way. But look, the big story right now is officiating in the NBA. The Thunder, they're up to O'O on the Lakers, but nobody is talking about their performance or their depth last night. They're talking about the refs. The officiating when it comes to OKC, that's nothing new, right? This has been something that's been bubbling up for really a couple of years now.

It does seem like it's boiled over into something that the NBA can't ignore,

especially after Austin Reeves made quite a show of talking to the refs after the buzzer last night.

And it was a talking point during post-game interviews.

They managed to over-officiate this game without making it clear how they were calling the game, which in its own right is pretty impressive. Like, you really got to work to insert so much

main character energy into this game that Joey Crawford would blush

by some of what they were doing. And yet it was still completely unclear what the F they were

looking for in this game. And I want to make it, it's funny, because I know JJ after the game, he, first of all, he acknowledged

that earlier in the week when he said that the Thunder, they're an amazing defensive team

that never files.

He was being sarcastic, Brian.

He wasn't being star.

They have too many guys who are allowed to foul on every single play and the

Lakers aren't getting the same whistle.

LeBron doesn't get the same whistle.
