Thunder podcast. So you might as well just get cracking. Here he is back on the show, fresh off a championship parade. Ryland Stiles is here to talk about the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ryland, welcome back to the show. Thanks for having me. I always love doing this every year. Yeah, it's a change a lot, hasn't it? All of the discussions we've had about this team and dispelling some of the narrows around, your tanking and injuries and all that sort of stuff to the team that is now considered a powerhouse and then having to deal with people talking about, like, is it real basketball? And what are they doing? And where are they going from here? And they're going to have to move on from guys. It's all a constant, ever-changing landscape regarding this team in particular, but that's just how it is in the NBA. But the Thunder are the NBA champions, Rylan, and that gives a different set of challenges. So we might as well just get sort of straight into talking about some of those challenges for this upcoming season, because, like, what changes's what's the mindset difference now with this

squad because they did it they're one of the youngest teams to ever do it they did it in relatively

dominating fashion throughout the regular season there were some issues in the in the NBA

playoffs obviously a couple of game sevens but they got the job done so what happens now what is the

mindset change because you do it she wins an MVP you win the NBA finals you do it. She wins an MVP. You win the NBA finals. You do it with

this young team. You set yourself up for the long term. But like, how does that, like, is there a

drive change? Because it's very hard to repeat. So what do they do? What's different now?

Yeah, it's very hard to repeat, especially for a team that has built this entire system over the

course of staying zero and zero, as the Thunder

always say, and having that intensity for all 82 games. They were only healthy for 8.5%
