The Hellbound Heart dives deep into hedonistic ideas

and the concept of differentiating the line between extreme pleasure and pain. It also introduced

us to a group of nameless creatures called Cenobites. The book didn't pick up steam until a fellow

author, named Stephen King, made a statement that would change the author's life. I've seen the future

of horror and his name is Clive Barker. This serial killer isn't about Clyde Barker specifically,

but when an artist, and I mean a real, true artist, is also able to create one of the most

marketable and successful franchises ever, you have to give them their roses.

Clive famously said, I want to be remembered as an imaginer, someone who used his imagination as a way to journey beyond the limits of self, beyond the limits of flesh and blood, beyond the limits of
