| 0:00.0 | Hi everybody. Welcome back to Ask Alicia, the weekly series where you ask me questions and I answer them. Maybe. Let's get to your first question this week. First question this week comes from Saurab Sarday. I hope I said your name correctly. Saurab says, hi Alicia, how are you? I'm good. I always confuse beautiful, pretty and gorgeous. Which words should I use and when? |
| 0:22.6 | Okay, sure, let's talk about these three. |
| 0:24.5 | Beautiful, pretty, and gorgeous. |
| 0:26.6 | So we use all three of these words to describe something |
| 0:30.4 | that we see that we think looks good, that looks nice. |

| 1:07.5 | actress going to an awards show and she wears a very special dress, |
| 1:12.3 | she has her hair done in just the right way, |
| 1:14.6 | we would probably describe her as gorgeous. |
| 1:17.6 | So that's something that's kind of rare. |
| 1:19.4 | We don't see that every day. |
| 1:21.0 | We don't see this woman looking so beautiful |
| 1:23.3 | in this expensive dress with her expensive makeup |
| 1:25.6 | and expensive hairstyle. |
| 1:27.0 | When we see something that's very rare like that, we would probably describe it as gorgeous. |
