So Senator Diane Feinstein, age 90, died in the past week.

And I'm never going to be one of those people that's

going to dance on someone's grave.

I don't think that that's kind.

I feel like I always get a little existential when someone,

especially someone in power dies because I

wonder about the state of their soul.

We don't know the state of other people's souls.

I mean, you can make an educated guess based on their action.

But I'm never going to be, I'm never

going to celebrate when someone dies.

That's just a really morbid thing to do.

Because our time on Earth is very fleeting.

And eternity is eternity.

So I care a lot more about where she is now

than I do about being vindictive about when she was here

at the same time.

I don't really like when people sanitize the history

and the behavior or the character of people just because

they've died.

We should just give an honest analysis of someone

when they die or the impact their death is going to have.
