Happy Derek Jeter Hall of Fame induction day. He is being inducted into the Hall of Fame this afternoon as you're listening to this episode. I'm looking forward to his speech and Scott and I decided we should repost some of the great Jeter episodes that we've done in the past. There's been a few of them.

And this one is something that we recorded in January of 2020. Yes, January of 2020 before the

world exploded. This was recorded. I remember actually recording this before I left on my

honeymoon to New Zealand. And it was right

before Derek Jeter was actually voted into the Hall of Fame. We knew he was going to get into

the Hall of Fame. We didn't know at what percentage he was going to get in. He did not get

100 percent, whatever. It's totally fine. So this episode was recorded right, I think, when the ballots were about to be submitted,

and we figured it'd be good to run down his five greatest moments. And maybe you already know

what these moments are, but I still think you're going to enjoy this episode to relive some of

those moments. We put in the audio from either the radio or television broadcast during those moments.

And we also talk about a couple of honorable mentions because it was really hard to narrow down

five for Derek Jeter. You could do a top 50 moments of Jeter's career. So enjoy this episode.
