Welcome to the Storytellers Live podcast where everyday women share real and personal stories of encounters with God.

I'm your host Robin and I am here with Dawn, Katie, and Lindy.

And it's our prayer at Storytellers Live that you would meet God in a new way through these stories,

0:18.1

that you would know you aren't alone and that you can discuss these

0:21.1

stories with friends so that walls are broken down and community is built. Today, our storyteller

0:27.1

is Suzanne and she is from our Vestavia gathering, but this story actually happened right

0:32.4

after we were in quarantine. So there was no live gathering. And it was our first attempt at doing a Facebook

0:38.6

live. And so this was everybody's story. This was not, this did not just belong to Vestavia,

1:15.3

That's right. And I think another thing that's important to let everyone know is that because

1:18.5

there was not a live audience, it really is like a storyteller, you know, reading us out of her

1:24.1

memoir. She does share some journal entries with us. And she does just cover so many areas

1:29.8

of just being thoroughly loved by God. She talks about, you know, laying our burdens at his feet,

1:35.6

being transparent, you know, waiting for his perfect timing, the unconditional love of a father.

1:40.6

And then she ends her story, though, talking about the walk that she was on when

1:46.0

her mother passed away. And we just thought it was a great time to share it with this Sunday

1:49.5

being Mother's Day. So we hope that y'all enjoy Suzanne's story. We want to tell you about
