I just driven from one end of the island to the other to see if any of the roads to the

Next over a week ago, fires spread down the West Maui Hills bordering the town of Lahaina

that was once a royal city and the capital of the islands.

So this is as close as I can get to Lahaina, which is the historic town that was frankly

incinerated by fires about a week ago.
