Summary

Jonah has a clear command from God to go preach to the people of Nineveh, but he flat out refuses and even goes so far as to flee in the opposite direction. As he attempts to sail to Tarshish in Jonah 1:1-16, he finds himself in a serious predicament as a storm batters the boat and the sailors realize that Jonah is the reason behind this peril.
