This past weekend, we started John chapter 5. If you missed that, we looked at the first section.

I love going through the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter. You get everything you need if you just go through the whole thing.

If you don't go through the whole thing, you'll really miss out on some of the key elements that may help you,

you know, understand the Bible. And there's a lot of people today, I think, that haven't done

the time and the word so that they know just enough to be dangerous. And you can fall into error

if you don't kind of take the full counsel of God.

And that's what's happening sadly to so much of the church today.

People know just a few verses out of the Bible, but they don't really know the details.

And the way you get the details is just to go right through the scriptures.

There's a collection of kids that were asked after Sunday school questions about their lessons. And here's some of the answers that they gave when they were, you know, asked.

One child said, Noah's wife is called Joan of Arc.

Another kid said, Lott's wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night.

Jacob, the son of Isaac, stole his brother's birthmark.

This was a good one.

David had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500 porcupines.

Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea where they made unleavened bread,

which is bread without any ingredients.

The Egyptians were all drowned in the desert

after Moses went out to Mount Sinai to get ten amendments.
