John 1. We got just to verse 18 last week, but like I said, John 1 is small but mighty.

The way he starts out, it's just a giant, really, the way he starts out.

In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God.

There's an atheist who was arguing with a Quaker about the existence of God,

and the atheist said, hey, have you ever seen God?

And the Quaker said, nope. Well, have you ever

smelled God? And Quaker said, nope. Well, have you ever even heard God's voice? Nope, said the Quaker.

And the atheist with a kind of a smirk on his face, then how can you be sure that there's

a God at all?

And the Quaker thought for a second, they said, friend, hath thee ever seen thy brains?

No. Hasth they ever smelled thy brains? No. Then how can you be sure that you have brains.

Some think that they can see God, and then there'd be evidence of his existence.

You know, if we could just see him, then we believe.

Then we believe.

But remember what John 20, you know, we learned from Thomas' moment when Jesus said,

Thomas, because you've seen me,

you've believed. But he said, blessed or happy are they that have not seen and yet believed.

So even if you can't see your brain, there is an outside evidence that you have one,

at least for most people. I'm joking. But yeah, there's evidence that there's a thinker in there,

unless you're a zombie just walking mindlessly around, I suppose.

But there's clear evidence.

Even as we see clear evidence that there's God in creation,
