All right. Finally, Habakkuk. It's been, it seems like it's been a long time in the coming,

huh, to get ready for this. But we are here. We're going to get this book covered. We've got a lot of

work to do, so let's get right to it. Habakkuk, chapter one, might you turn there?

I love the Bible, how relatable it is.

Even though this was, you know, thousands of years ago, I marvel at how humanity really

hasn't changed all that much.

And one thing, you know, as a Bible prophecy buff, which, by the way,

Friday night, don't forget, prophecy update, it's going to be a good time talking about world

events and stuff. But, you know, one of the things I think we Bible prophecy buffs tend to do is

like, oh, these are really bad times. They're worse than all the other times. But really, when you're also a little bit into history, you realize,

well, there's just been a lot of bad times. And there's a lot of centuries and people that thought

the end was during their time. And arguably, I think if you live during World War I, or especially

if you're over in Europe or in the trenches, you could think, man, this is the end.

No wonder they called it, you know, the Armageddon.

That's what they thought World War I was, or the Holocaust of World War II.

There's been horrible times in history.

And so you kind of realize that man hasn't changed all that much.

There's been a lot of sin and debauchery.

But it does say that globally we'll start to see those things on more of a global scale,

not just the localized skill.

And that's one of the things that we see in modern days.

But really, Habakkuk lived in scary times.
