How many times have you heard someone say, I'm not into organized religion?

Ha ha.

It's an interesting claim, but if you give it more thought than just a few seconds, it's kind of not the brightest thing to say.

Well, Brett, what if I'm not into organized religion? Well, I'd say you reconsider.

Because there's a couple problems you have. If you don't believe in organized religion,

then that means you don't believe the Bible. Because the Bible talks about how you're supposed to organize religion. It gives us organization. That's the chapter that we have in front of us

tonight, one of many, by the way,

but as it turns out, the Bible gives us instructions when it comes to Christianity and faith

in God. You don't just kind of freebie come up with weird ideas about what church is supposed to

look like. I think that's the problem. There's a lot of people think, well, I kind of like to think

of church as this, or I kind of like to think of church as that. But who cares what you like to think?

Because I don't care.

And I don't care what I like to think.

What I want to care about is what does the Bible say about organizing religion?

And that's what's going to keep us on track.

So Jesus was into organized religion.

Did you know that? Remember when he got the 5,000, he told the

disciples, get organized, divide into groups, sit into groups and disperse the food and organize.

He organized 12 disciples, and he organized them in different ways to deal with people and help

care for folks and spread the gospel. There was an organization.

You know, I used to say jokingly, man, if you don't like organized religion, you'll love Athe Creek.
