2 Corinthians chapter 6 I have a plan and a goal tonight and I'm going to state it ahead of time to put some pressure on myself

chapter 6 and chapter 7 ha ha you guys are like oh ye of little faith

where's the doubtt thou doubt?

Where we are here in 2nd Corinthians, Paul has just finished explaining in chapter 5 that we

are ambassadors for Christ.

And our ministry is that of reconciliation, really, and that is the reconciliation of humanity,

back to the Father, and it really is Jesus who does that work.

But we're going to find out Paul's going to continue this idea, and it's not really us and our work,

as much as it's God and His work, that we are serving the Lord with.

And it's this ministry of reconciliation.

It's really verses 18 through 21 that we've finished up last week. So this is the context in which we see here in chapter six. Now in chapter six, we're going to see two sections at the beginning first paul the

evangelist verses one and two uh but then we're going to see paul the example in verses three through

ten and so paul is going to kind of refer to that evangelism uh the gospel and salvation

in the first couple verses so we pick it up in chapter six,

verse one. We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that you receive not the grace

of God in vain. Starting chapter six, there's a couple big things here. We then, as workers

together with him. Did you know that God wants to work with you? This is important for you as a

Christian. If you're a Christian, he wants to get some work done, and he wants you to work with them.

And I think sometimes we forget

that that's part of the job description.

When you accept Christ and saved by his grace,

it's time to get to work.
