so that the soul can enter or leave easily.

Putting coins on a windowsill, especially on New Year's Eve, will help bring in abundance and good fortune.

Feng Shui states that you shouldn't have your bed under a window because it will drain your energy.

All these practices imply that windows can act as a portal to the spirit world, controlling what energies come and go.

But is there any truth in that?
