Woman in Missouri named Tira Smith was arrested last week after she allegedly broke into a home

and started eating fruity pebbles in the kitchen.

The family was home at the time.

A woman says her son smelled something burning.

So he walked downstairs to the kitchen.

That's when he saw the strange lady eating fruity pebbles and petting the family dog.

The oven was also on. So maybe that's where the smell was coming from.

Son ran and told his mom who called 911.

The mom also confronted Tara and demanded that she clean up the mesh she made.

That seemed like an odd request, but fruity pebbles and milk were scattered everywhere.

Police arrived and determined that Tara was on something.

She later told them she consumed a bottle of marijuana.

And was walking around outside and mistook the house for, I guess, hers.

She was charged with a first-degree burglary.
