The mother of two passed away in the UK after choking during a marshmallow eating contest.

That was part of a fundraiser for her son's rugby club.

BBC reported the 37-year-old Natalie Buzz was taking part in the contest in October when she left the stage collapsed and passed away.

Buzz reportedly swallowed dozens of marshmallows in 60 seconds, which blocked her airway,

causing her to collapse.

Multiple other people attending the event attempted to perform life-saving measures,

and responding paramedics were not able to clear her airway.

News of the death is resurfacing because officials held a pre-enquest court hearing about the death

last week. BBC and the Times UK reported the bus was called on stage for the marshmallow

eating competition by a DJ and children's entertainer Christopher Gibbons. Inquests with a jury are often called for when

someone's death occurs in circumstances that could be considered suspicious, contentious,

or have wider ramifications for the public. Gibbons has been interviewed by the police,

and the inquest would focus on risk assessment and risk mitigation relating to the game.

But either way, they're saying, do not do this at home.

Because looking back on marshmallows, you kind of understand how would happen, right?
