I think it's fantastic that as a society,

we're all becoming more conscious of protecting our planet.

That might be through protecting endangered species, greening our cities, or minimizing waste.

In my own garden, I like to protect the planet as best I can.

I avoid single-use plastics like fleece, for example.

I use integrated pest banishment where you only control pests and diseases if you really have to.

I grow cover crops to protect the soil.

And also, I like to produce heavy yields of good quality stuff that all other things being equal should have a lower environmental impact than supermarket food. And saving produce
