Everybody loves the thrift store now, which kind of f***s it up.

My daughter, Zoe, asked me to take her to the thrift store.

Now the new kids, nowadays, they love the thrift store.

I remember growing up, you used to hide if you went to the thrift store.

You didn't want hand me down clothes.

We didn't want clothes from Salvation Army.

I mean, that was like the worst thing ever.

But now it's a style choice, which kind of messes up the novelty of it all, but such as

life nowadays.

So I took my daughter Zoe to the Salvation Army, and there's this large parking lot that's

filled up like a shopping mall.

I had to drive around a few times just to find a parking spot. And this is a sign of the

times in a lot of ways, on a few levels. But we park and then Zoe is off. She's off to the races

to find things before someone else snatches it. So I'm just sauntering around. You know, I take a stroll

around the Salvation Army. This is what I do

when I'm taking people on the errands. I just try to get my steps in. So I go to check out the books

and it's mostly Grandma Love novels. It's Daniel Steele and in Nora Roberts books. No offense if you

like those books.

If you go to the Salvation Army, there's plenty to choose from at the Salvation Army.
