0:15.0	with the historical mentors series and instead of focusing on women who have
0:18.9	impacted me, women from Christian history, I want to highlight three very unique couples.
0:24.0	There are so many men who have pioneered the gospel in remote areas and gone through amazing
0:29.5	suffering in order to bring the message of Christ around the world and so often those men
0:34.8	had wives that were just as committed to following down the narrow way of the
0:38.9	cross and giving up everything for the cause of the gospel so when you combine a husband and a wife who has that
0:45.0	commitment, that willingness to not just talk about making Christ our life, but actually
0:49.7	make him our life, it is really, really powerful to see the result. So the three couples I want
0:55.2	to focus on in this episode are brother Andrew and his wife, Corey, Richard and Sabina
1:00.6	Wernbrandt, and Don and Carol Richardson.
1:02.9	So if you're not familiar with any of those, we're just going to highlight moments from
1:06.2	their stories and these couples have impacted me and the reason that I feel like they are unique,
1:12.2	the reason I'm calling them unique, is because
1:14.5	most married people, and I can definitely attest to this, it's just really easy to get caught
1:20.0	up in just providing for your own needs and raising your own family and kind of putting radical
1:26.3	living for Christ off to the sides. Like, well, I'm just kind of settled down now. But all three of these couples, they
1:31.8	never let go of that radical devotion to Christ to say I will follow the land wherever he leads no matter what it costs and that is what makes them unique and so impactful.
