0:00.0	The second section of Psalms, known as the Exodus Psalms, remind us that the God who redeemed us is still with us.
0:15.0	In fact, he is promised to never leave us or forsake us.
0:20.0	Today we join Scott Pauli in opening God's roadmap for life.

0:36.9	All of the Psalms point us in one direction.
0:39.6	They all point us to the Lord.
0:41.3	And one of the things that is fascinating to me as I look at these Psalms is how God uses them to contrast the greatness of God to the littleness of this world.
0:52.4	For example, we've just studied Psalm 48,
0:54.9	great is the Lord, greatly to be praised,
0:57.8	and we see the greatness, the bigness, if you will, of our God.
1:02.7	Then you come immediately to Psalm 49,
1:05.2	and he shows us the littleness of this life,
1:08.6	how small this world is and material things. A great contrast between
1:14.4	the eternal and the temporal, between the material and the spiritual. Psalm 49, verse one, says,
1:21.2	hear this, all ye people, give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world, both low and high, rich and poor together.
1:30.0	That's a beautiful expression.
1:31.4	Listen to Psalm 49, verse 2.
1:33.3	Low and high, rich and poor together.
1:37.5	I remember as a child hearing someone say that the ground is level at the foot of the cross.
1:42.2	The truth of the matter is, whether you are lower high in
1:46.0	society's estimation, we are all equally sinners in need of a Savior. And whether you are rich
