And this year has been no different.

It is Tuesday, March 24th.

And we're going to dig into three major takeaways from the last two weeks of NWSL play,

focusing maybe a little bit more on this past weekend where we're seeing

some trends. We're seeing some major data points. We're seeing some drama and some chaos. And there

are some teams that I am really enjoying watch play that I wasn't sure I was going to at the

beginning of the year. Lots to talk about. Let's jump in.

Welcome to the chaos, folks. It is a great time in the NWSL season to enjoy each individual game. As we know, the arc of an NWSL season is long. I think you can make some early

kind of points about some teams, which we will do today. But I really enjoy sort of this incubator of the first couple of weeks of the regular season

where, you know, no grand statements, enjoyable subsection of competition to enjoy whatever

might happen week to week because we're going to see some flops and some sleighs and some nice performances

and teams still figuring themselves out. And it's cool to kind of enjoy watching teams figure

things out in real time while they do still again have some of these weeks where they don't

have to feel like they are losing their season while doing some experimentation. So today,

I felt like we'd do something a little bit

different than we've done maybe in the past. And I want to kind of like dig into three

individual sort of moments or topics from the last weekend of NWSL play that I do think point to

some interesting trends could be things that we end up talking about down the road. You know,

some thesis statements, a lot of red cards.
