Let's look at the main dialogue.

Two people are having a conversation.

I'll be at the 7.

I'm going to see you. I'm going to be at 7. I'm going to see them at 7.

I'm going to see them at 7.

I'm going to go to La Condesa by subway.

Do you want to come with me?

I'm tired. I'm going to go by taxi.

I'm tired. I'm going to go by taxi.

In this conversation, both people talked about how they would get to the destination.

This person says,

I'm going to go to La Condesa by subway.

In this sentence, we have the expression N Metro, meaning by subway, and it is preceded by the preposition N.

Then this person says, Voya'id and taxi. I'm going to go by taxi. In this sentence, we see the phrase N taxi, which means by taxi. The preposition

n is used here as well. In Spanish, N is a preposition that most commonly means in, on or by,

depending on the context. When talking about means of transportation, N is typically translated as by.

But when you talk about going somewhere on foot, you don't use N like you would with other types of transportation.

Instead, the fixed expression is a pie, which means on foot.
