In Spanish, the present progressive tense is used to talk about actions that are happening right now. To form it, we use the verb

estar in the present tense, followed by the gerend from another verb. For example,

estescribieno means she is writing. The gerundio is the equivalent of the English ING form.

For verbs ending in AR, the geron ends in Ando, like practicando from practicar.

For ER and IR verbs, the juran ends in yendo,

like, Escribieno from Escribiz.
