First to my final game in the men's Olympic hockey tournament being played this morning over in Milan between Canada and Finland.

And 12 minutes left in the second period, Finland has opened up with a pair of goals in the second period, a two-nothing lead on Canada playing without Sidney Crosby.

So Canada is in a tough spot here.

Look, part of me wants Canada to win because I want the U.S. to beat Canada to win to win the goal.

That would be the most dramatic matchup on Sunday morning, right?

Assuming the U.S. beat Slovakia later today.

Nobody is rooting for outside of Slovakia or Finland.

Nobody is rooting for a Finland-Slovakia gold medal game.

And a U.S. Canada matchup for the bronze tomorrow instead of Sunday morning for the gold would definitely

not have the same weight and not the same level of excitement.

But there is also a part of me that more than I want to see a great matchup on Sunday morning in the gold medal game,

just wants to see my country win gold in men's hockey for the first time in nearly half a century.

And so if that means Canada loses to Finland, part of me is okay with that.

I'll be honest, because I just want to see the Americans win gold.

I'm kind of torn on this one.
