This week we have our very first guest co-host and it's my good friend, Stacey Abrams.

Stacey is the former minority leader in the Georgia House, the winner of the 2018 race

for Georgia governor, though not the governor due to voter suppression.

A New York Times bestselling author, one of the smartest human beings I've ever known.

Our latest book, Our Time Is Now, Came Out in June and it's really, really good and you

I want to really introduce her with two quick stories about my favorite things.

I've personally heard Stacey Abrams say when I've been in her company and the first

thing is we, so Stacey and I met doing a fellowship program at the Aspen Institute together

several years ago.

And one of the first things that happened was everybody had to go around.

We were all legislators or statewide officials and say who we're thinking about when we

write legislation.

And Stacey, everything Stacey says I feel like it should be Estonestone.

She said, I write legislation for people who grew up in my neighborhood but without my

parents, which I thought was so awesome.

And then fast forward to several years later, I was honored that Stacey asked me to come

down and be one of two people to introduce her for her campaign kickoff for governor.

So I came down to give this speech or give this introduction to her speech.
