| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the three red lights podcast. This is a wonderful episode number 130. I think I don't think we've messed up on the number |
| 0:25.2 | yet. With me as always is the tall and handsome and dashing Charles on yet. Oh, well, thank you. We have the triumphant return. Yes, of Nate Aherm. I'm so happy to be back. It feels so nice in this room with all these people. |
| 0:38.2 | He's back on three red lights. We just couldn't stay away. Nate is actually loading a gun with which to shoot us. I also have for the very first time ever. I'm a three relates podcast. Mr. Mark Boson. I thought both those other introductions were for me. They weren't. That's all I got. |
| 0:53.6 | No. There's too much beard in this room right now. Yeah. And I know that big. And this is where we probably will ramble for the next 10 to 20 minutes about something that has nothing to do with video games. Then you guys talk about lost. That is already lost. Talk anymore lost. |
| 1:08.6 | Talk. Then hopefully we'll come back and talk a little bit about video games and then at the end we'll do some reader mail. At least that's how the general thing works. Sometimes Charles makes an agenda. That's true. I did not this time, but he didn't this time. |
| 1:20.6 | You have a lot of what is it? I just I just letters here on your note. I actually can't even talk about what's on my no pet. I don't know what the hell. Why? |
| 1:28.6 | Look at all these words. I have. I know it's that I can't actually talk about here. I put scribbles on that. You know what? I saw you scribbling in the meeting yesterday. Those are meeting scribbles. Yeah. I can tell. You let down the team. Furious Chuck. You let down the team. I can talk about this game that you guys just wrote on this piece of paper. Yeah. |
| 1:45.6 | So I don't know if you guys know, but this week coming out is Pro Evolution Soccer 10 on WPS 2. And then a game called Charles isn't smart for DS and we and it's rated adults only. And Mark Bozon drew some awesome. It's a box cover art. It's funny because his neck is next small. |
| 1:59.6 | I'm going to take a picture of the box. I don't know what it's art. Maybe. Okay. Yeah. It's it's not exactly the most accurate picture, but I'll do it after the podcast. You are actually one of the original members of the podcast, right? |
| 2:11.6 | I'm not original. Not original. I was in there. I was after like, Cratic, David Cratic in there for a while. But nobody. I'm the only original surviving member. Right. Until I kill him. Until Nate kills me. Okay. Well, I mean, we're not in the street. Was that you had been killed for a while. Yes. Yes. I know. I know it's that joke is surprisingly still happening. I can't believe people. It was pretty much never funny. I know. And then like for even if I was dead, don't joke about it for six seconds. Here's the thing. It wasn't funny. It's true. |
| 2:41.4 | Then it kind of got funny because it like went on like a not funny joke becomes funny after that montage. We're not montage. Yeah. It starts to funny once like a not funny joke become stale. Then you're like, wow, this is kind of funny. It's still going on. And then it just went back into not funny again. I know. And then people just keep doing it. At least they recognize it now. Somebody says that said on my wall on Facebook the other day. Oh, Nate's dead. And then somebody else is like that joke. Stop being funny months ago. It's going to be really hilarious to get me to actually die though. That's not going to be so funny now. Is that too, Stan? Right? |
| 3:11.4 | I think we can confirm now on this episode of three red lights that you, in fact, are not dead. I'm not dead. There is. It's been a long time coming, but no, I am in fact not dead. It is not dead. Okay, confirmed. Stop talking about it. I got a Facebook message from a reader. I don't remember the name. Speaking of things that are dead, asking us please to never change the name of the three lights podcast because they just got a three light system. Hmm. We'll see. |
| 3:41.4 | Speaking of things that are dead, like the console. Yep. I liked it. It was a dead console. That was good. What if what if the next system has nothing to do with the or says it's still going to be three red lights? It should be. |
| 3:51.4 | I don't know. Why not? We will all be fired before that. I guess the original agenda coming in was we could either talk about Modern Warfare 2, which I think a few people have heard of and might be playing right now. Or we could read quotes from the infernal city. |
| 4:11.1 | I like that. An Elder Scrolls novel by Greg Keys. What we'll do is first we'll talk about Modern Warfare. We'll save the good stuff. The readings from the infernal city for later, just so that people have something to look forward to. |
| 4:23.6 | But I like the idea of talking about it while furious Chuck just reads the infernal city in the back. Okay, so what we can do when when lines actually are pertinent to the discussion. |
| 4:32.1 | Well, yes, I'll I'll skim the book with my data from Star Trek, like modern warfare. Yeah, I'm not keeping in mind. I'm not smart, which is adults only for some reason. No, that's disturbing. |
| 4:43.1 | It's smart. Yes. So you guys can talk about Modern Warfare, and I will add my input through the words of Greg Keys. So both on 9.5, huh? 9.5, baby. Yeah. How do you feel about that? Why not? Why not a 10? I don't think it's a 10. Why not a 9.4? |
| 4:58.1 | Because COD 4 is 9.4. I feel this is better than that. All right. Okay. Okay. I hate to read off other people's scores. I hate that. I really do. If I could just open Mark Boson.com, and it could get three hits. It could do that. I probably just open it. |
| 5:13.1 | Now, which which is your favorite part of the game, the single player, the spec ops or the multiplayer? It's really toss between spec ops and multiplayer. |
| 5:19.1 | And I said in the review, too. I think a lot of people are either buying a forced single player or multiplayer. They're going to be really shocked when they go in and realize that spec ops. |
| 5:26.1 | Yeah, spec ops is great. It's weird. We like all of a sudden start talking about games in this game. I know. Usually only five minutes in. Usually we go another five minutes before. |
