Terro coloring book and your host for this podcast series. This is episode 36 of

Taro Bites. The podcast where I dish out short entertaining bite-sized lessons on

how to read Taro. For today's episode, our topic is the

three of cups. So let's begin. So before we start diving into the card, this past weekend, I was invited to teach at the

Omega Institute as part of the Masters of Tarot Weekend, alongside Tarot Great's Mary Greer and Rachel Pollack. You know when they contacted me to teach of course I said yes. I like to say that I never say no to anything that Mary or Rachel ask.

Well, you know, of course, within reason.

Sasha Graham and Barbara Moore were also present this weekend.

It felt like a a tarot celebration.

It was truly the three of cups in action except there were five of us. So one of the things that struck me this weekend is when Rachel started talking about the three of cups and how it's linked to the

Kabbala. Now in her book, the new Tarot Handbook, Rachel says this, look at the positions of the three cups and then look at the tree of life

seen on the ten of penicles.

The cups subtly form the top triangle of the tree, while the women themselves, seemingly dancing freely,

actually formed the tree itself with its three vertical columns. In the minor Arcana, the spiritual underlies daily life.

Now that's some pretty deep stuff and something I've never noticed. And you know frankly,

I'm not an expert on the Kabbala so it's not surprising that I might miss that.

But one of the things that fascinates me is how you can look at Terrell for many years and still find something new or profound within those images.

I'm really grateful that Rachel pointed me towards this because it adds one more layer onto my own interpretation of the
