I mean, warm body is kind of a mean way to put it, but you've both sort of been our clutch

inch hitters lately when when no one else uh is

available to do a three m there's like a handful of people i can count on to be like hey so

everyone else has like lives or or like they're still in the journalism space so they have to like go to events

and stuff. Whereas near and I, we are our former. So we generally don't have to go anywhere and I. I'll

speak for myself. I don't have a life. So I do have perhaps too much of a life these days,

but also I don't have to keep up on all of the latest hottest traffic driving games. I,

I just came upstairs to record this podcast after playing Armored Corps 6. That game came out in

like, what, 2003? I'm like that. like that yeah yeah it's been a little bit um

we are here to talk about the latest and hottest traffic driving upcoming um strategy games of

of 20 i almost said 2016 that's how much I don't know what year it is anymore.

2025. And we kind of discussed in the year wrap-up show last year in December, which was like a month ago,

how it didn't feel like it was that big of a year because it felt like there was just a lot of stuff on the horizon.

Neer, do you have a most anticipated strategy or tactics game this year so far?

I mean, literally just looking at the list that you prepared ahead of time for this, like, Slay the Spire too.

I finally went back and got the true ending of Slay the Spire like three or four months ago, something like that when I was, I guess still in my current backlog kick as one of the early games I beat in my current backlog run through.

And, you know, it's been a minute since I've enjoyed a good card-based rogue-like.
