For this one, a lot of us took time to reflect on our journey, both with the show, and also with

strategy games as a whole. I spoke first with Rowan Kaiser and T.J. Hafer, and as conversations

with Rowan tend to be, it was a surprisingly searching and reflective exchange about our hobbies and

relationships to them. Then Troy and reflective exchange about our hobbies and relationships

to them. Then Troy and I discussed our long friendship and association with the show. Troy is also,

however, in the process of moving out of an apartment tower that is covered in construction

crews, and I do apologize for the sound of the dawn to dusk concrete grinders that were running

in the background.

Finally, Bruce sent me back to the near beginning of computer wargaming with Chris Crawford's Eastern Front, 1941, while we struggled to come to terms with our spotty Skype connection.

I think the conversations are good, better than our audio in many places, and that's about

the most 3MA way this thing could have gone.

By episode 1,000, I think we'll have this thing in studio quality,

or at least a pretty decent AM radio quality.
