Summary

Rob, T.J., Rowan, and Fraser gather to consider the last ten years in strategy games. There is a stark division about what happened to the RTS, as well as how the concept of a game being "finished" mostly disappeared. Then Rob tries to wrap up the show and it goes for another hour as everyone tries to choose their favorite genre game from the last ten years.

1:30.0

and I have to do Crusader Kings 2 because Crusader Kings 2 is really emblematic of the decade

1:36.9

This game is actually a really amazing strategic new way of doing strategy games that we have not seen this kind of like role-playing character arc emergent stories.

2:06.2

And so, like, word of mouth kept that game going, being on streaming, kept that game going.
