I think it's a testament to the Dodgers pitching excellence more than the

Cubs' lack of offense, but that is a different podcast. A very, very different podcast, and one

we'll have next year. We also welcome back through the head founder, Troy Goodfellow.

Hello, everyone. And this week, maybe appropriately given my misgivings about the Cubs and Michael's quick

reassurance there, we're talking about sports management.

In particular, we're going to be hitting PlaySport Games Motorsport Manager and Out of the

Parks franchise hockey manager.

And, you know, the field of sports management games is pretty broad.

And it actually gets a lot broader if you start looking at like the franchise modes in sort of the console offerings,

like, you know, MLB the show or NHL-18, which are actually pretty sophisticated in their own right.

But we sort of, I think, narrowed our focus for this one to mostly concentrate, first and foremost, like, on the particular sports we're into.

You know, we've talked about baseball management Sims in the past on this show.

And we haven't really, we've talked obliquely about, you know, what separates

motorsport from other forms of sport, what we like about hockey.

But I want to sort of dig into how the nature of simulation changes as we look at, I guess,

our sporting obsessions with this show, motorsports and hockey.
