And, of course, with this gathering, there can only be one thing we're discussing, and that is

the latest entry in the Total War series, Total Warhammer, or Total Warhammer, as

everyone I think has been calling it for the past few months.

Or World, Total War, Warhammer, War.

Yeah, I like to think, you know,

all the, of all the Warhammers out there,

this one's the totalist, I'd say.

It's definitely the most wariest.

It very much is.

Maybe the hammiest as well.

It's a little hammy.

We've all, we've all had a little over a week with the game. And one of the things that's been interesting me is that I seem to see like every, like a lot of people had really different experiences and, uh, reactions to this game. Uh, Dan, Dan, let's start with you because I know you have a bit more of a background in the tabletop games, and you joined us, of course, for the retrospective on Shadow of the Horned Rat.

And I'm not, I think this might actually be the closest thing we've seen to a Shadow of the Horned Rat successor in ages.

Yeah, it feels like a tribute to it. It feels like a best hits version of Shadow of Horned Rat without the strong narrative

background and the ridiculous difficulty that game had.

Yeah, so talk us through this a little bit, because I would definitely say this is a

little more Warhammer and a little less total war than I was initially expecting.
