I have an awkward confession to make to you, Austin.

When I proposed we would do a show on Satellite Rain.

Uh-huh.

I was very confident that Satellite Rain was about to win the 3MA backer poll on Patreon.

I see.

It jumped out to an unprecedented, like 20-vote lead on the first day of voting as to what our top,

what our listener

chosen topic should be in January. So I was like, Austin, my man. Yep. Let's let's talk about

cyberpunk because I know that is something that you have a lot of thoughts about. I have so many

thoughts. Yeah. And then satellite rain didn't win. What won instead?

Hegemony. Hegemony 3. Oh, okay, sure. I can see that. So, like, I don't know exactly what

happened. Perhaps there was some sort of cyberpunk-esque, like, caper on the, on the pole itself.

Someone jacked into your internet and overcame all of your black ice and, you know, switched all of the poll data. Got it. Yeah, pretty much. And so, you know, a couple, like a couple weeks ago, you got in touch and you were like, all right, I'm ready to talk cyberpunk. I'm ready to talk satellite rain. And I was like, yeah, yeah, let's do that.

Let's do that.

But actually, I really did want to talk about it.
