at the expensive paradox, getting some of that sweet, sweet corruption money.

And how are you spending your bag of loot?

I gave my girlfriend half of the chocolate, and I'm saving Pillars of Eternity for release date,

the chocolate bar they gave us, not the game, and I'm going to take that to my local podcast,

and we're going to divvy up the Pillars of Eternity Chocolate. It's pretty exciting.

Good deal. So tonight we're going to be talking about the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Ubisoft

just re-released Heroes of Might and Magic 3, an HD remake, and I reviewed it for PC

Games N. And it seems like a good time to just sort of look at the entire series and it's sort of

place in strategy history and its legacy ever since then.

And I'll be honest, when I first sort of conceived of this topic, I thought it might be one of those topics that is in danger of turning into a love-in.

But fortunately, we've got Rowan here to play the loyal opposition.

And Troy, well, I'm not actually sure where you stand, Troy.

Since you're the old-timer, since you're the person here who encountered these games

as an adult, why don't you tell us a little bit about the series?

And, you know, at the time, where did it, you know, before it sort of achieved this classic status, you know, how did you sort of greet this series?
