Hello, how you doing?

Doing pretty well. It's a little early in the morning for me to be podcasting on my second coffee.

It's 9 a.m. on Wednesday. I've been up since like 7.30, but, you know, it's all for the show.

It's all so that we can keep a at least somewhat regular schedule.

And tonight I will be firing this off to our producer so that he can whip this into a listenable product all in the space of a day because he works miracles.

So today we're going to be talking about Uber Entertainment's Planetary Annihilation,

a game that I previewed a couple years ago when the Kickstarter was announced,

and I didn't track very closely after that.

It was a game I was very excited about in prospect.

In practice, I did not like it very much at all,

but I find that opinions seem to be all over the map.

If this were, you know, in some ways, I seem to be the most negative on the game.

Fraser seems to be our middle case.

But I'm actually more interested in hearing from you right now, Brandon, because you actually really liked the game, and I read your review on Rock Paper Shotgun.

And why don't you tell us a little bit about, first of all, what planetary annihilation is,

and then what makes it special in your eyes?
