Good evening, you are listening to Three Moves Ahead, and I'm your host, Rob Zakeney.

Joining me today, I've got a light cast today, traveling light, but it's a big topic, and I think we'll have a lot to say, is my partner and Three Moves Head founder, Troy Goodfellow. Troy, Troy, welcome to the show. It is good to be here. This is a very not World War I-sized cast, is it? It's not, but you know, it's nice and compact like a trench.

That's true.

0:25.5

This is Welcome to the Cozy Through Moves the Head dugout.

0:27.8

There we go.

0:29.2

So today we're going to be talking about Commander the Great War, which is sort of a grand

1:19.3

Troy, what was your expectations for the Commander series heading into this game?

1:24.4

I know you have a little more background than I do.

1:26.8

Well, I played way back the end in the day, Commander Europe at War, which was from the same developers.

1:34.3

It's now available as Military History, Commander Europe at War, because they have the History Channel branding.

1:40.6

And I liked it quite a bit when it came out. And this one came out originally in 2012, though now there was an iPad version which came

1:47.9

out last month, which was kind of a hot topic.

1:51.2

And I really dug Commander Europe at War.

1:55.1

When I wrote about it way back in 2009, it had, it was simple.
