It's good to be here on a surprise Saturday evening.

That's true, and we have our former intern, of course, to blame for this.

I asked Soren Johnson to let me know when he would be available for

a podcast to discuss a topic he suggested. The decline of the traditional RTS and the way the

format could evolve over time. Coincidentally, Sorin is developing an RTS. We'll come to that

in a moment. But the great thing is, I was like, let me know when you're available. And then this morning, Soren's just like, I'm available now, which was pretty awesome. I was, like, delighted to have Soren on the show. But at the same time, a little notice, buddy. Like the last minute announcements. It's good. But anyway, it's so good to have our intern back on the show.

You know, he's done so much since he left us.

Well, actually, things got a little quiet while you went off to Zenga for a bit there.

Yeah, that's going to be kind of a missing link in my career because the game I worked on there was actually pretty fun to play internally, but it got basically completely shut down when Zika Baltimore got closed.

And so, you know, so really the most important line in your resume between SIV 4 and the present is three moves ahead.

Yeah, I look at my time as an interim really is the springboard into my future here.

And speaking of your future, you have recently started a new studio.

You are the CEO and founder of Mohawk Games.

So congratulations on that.

And I was very disappointed to learn that you do not presently have a Mohawk.

We're misleading people already.
