So Unity of Command came out at the very tail end of 2011,

and I think one of the great treats of 2012 was watching this fantastic little war game,

earned this reputation as one of the most accessible and engaging war games probably of like the last decade.

Since then, 2 by 2 have released the Red Turn expansion,

which adds a ton of new late war scenarios

covering the Soviet advance across Europe.

But before we start diving into Unity of Command and Red Turn, I was hoping that

Tomislav could tell us a little bit about his wargaming origins and some of the experiences

that informed his design of Unity of Command. Tomislav, could you give us some highlights

from your wargaming biography? Yeah, sure, why not?

I think, you know, perhaps not very originally,

the game that really influenced me the most is Panzer General 2.

I mean, I played the original Panzer General

and all the various incarnations of the second series.

But at the time that that game came out, I was in college or never.

And I remember almost like failing a year in college or just obsessively playing this game.

And then sort of over the years, I've played other games more, you know, sort of served

as an introduction to the hobby.
