So glad you're with us for the Tuesday edition of the three martini lunch.

So much to get to today.

More of it about Minneapolis and certainly about ice,

both locally there in Minnesota, as well as here in Congress. And then, Jim, a curious story

about the New York Police Department and a raccoon. Trust us. You're not going to want to miss

this story, but we'll get to that in due time. Let's kick it off with the story from Minnesota.

Jim broke the news yesterday while we were talking about it,

that Trump and Walls had a phone call,

and it sounds like Trump and Mayor Jacob Frye also had a phone call,

that somehow they were going to work together.

Of course, we knew that Trump had already made the decision to send

Tom Holman to run the operation in Minneapolis. Bovino from Customs and Border Protection is

headed back to California, along with some of the agents. Seems like a bit of a demotion here

for Homeland Security Secretary, Christy Knoem, as well. So nonetheless, we may have actually seen a little

bit more cooperation here. We're going to talk about this a little bit more to be sure in just a

second because, you know, you can't ever trust Tim Walls too far. But so far, it seems like we've

seen a pretty dramatic shift because two nights ago, anti-ice protesters were outside a hotel where they believed, and I think

they were right, that either ICE

or CPB personnel were staying
