So glad you're with us for the Tuesday edition of the three martini lunch.

If you live in Virginia, get out and vote.

But we start, Jim, with spring cleaning. This is the time of

year where people clean out their closets, maybe the garage. Sometimes it's their cabinets. And for

President Trump, it's the cabinet. First, it was the DHS secretary, Christy Noam, then it was

Attorney General Pam Bondi. Now it is Labor Secretary, Lori Chavez-Durimer. And you and I were never excited about Lori Chavez-Durreemar.

She was a Congresswoman from Oregon.

Pretty liberal Republican.

She had actually been one of the few Republicans in Congress to support the Pro Act,

which would have gutted freelance employment nationwide.

Thankfully, it did not pass.

But she was kind of seen as a thank you to the Teamsters for not making an endorsement at all.

In other words, not endorsing Kamala Harris in the 2024 campaign.

She really didn't make any headlines other than scandal.

She's been under investigation by the Inspector General's office for a number of things,

including day drinking on the job,

having her staff scheduled trips to visit family and friends with just a little bit of work squeezed

in there, so the taxpayer has to pay for all of it.

There's accusations that she was having an affair with the head of security.
