Hey, so glad you're with us for the Tuesday edition of the three martini lunch.

Our biggest good martini today is that Jim Garrity is in fact home. You will hear

all about his travel travails getting back and forth from Colorado a little bit later in the

podcast. But thanks to Scott Bertram and Ann S. Stettman for filling in while Jim was out Friday and

Monday. And so Jim, a lot to get to today. And let's start with what you may have seen on CNN.

I don't know if this is where you got your idea or where you read about it.

But CNN now has solved the mystery of who its viewer was on Sunday when it comes to Farid.

For those who aren't familiar with the show, Farid is not usually the one to take the left out to the woodshed, to say the least.

But he is this time, and the jumping off point was Zoroamandani,

looking for massive tax increases,

either the state doing it on the rich and the corporations,

or if they won't play ball,

he's going to soak the entire city and property tax increases nearly

10%. And so, uh, uh, for Id Zakaria, uh, this, uh, clip of being a perfect example, saying that,

uh, these big cities, New York City just being a prime example, doing a terrible job of running

themselves. New York is really a prime example of a problem Democrats seem

unwilling to confront. Blue cities are out of control. Promising more, spending more, delivering less,
