Summary

The final chapter of the 2019 West Virginia football season will be written Friday in Fort Worth, Texas. As expected, it has been a season of growing pains for Neal Brown and the Mountaineers. While WVU’s bowl chances ended with last week’s loss to Oklahoma State, Friday’s game does have bowl implications.

TCU must beat the Mountaineers to secure a sixth win and gain bowl eligibility. On this episode, Brad Howe, Hoppy Kercheval and Tony Caridi break down the matchup and provide the necessary ingredients for a WVU upset. TCU is favored by almost two touchdowns.

The “Guys” also recap WVU’s memorable basketball victory over Northern Iowa and preview the Cancun Challenge title game against Wichita State.

They’ll return Monday with a review of the TCU game and WVU’s basketball games against Wichita and Sunday’s date at home against Rhode Island.
