We tape on Monday as West Virginia gets ready to end.

It's only by week of the season.

They get back to action on Saturday afternoon as they take on the horn frogs of TCU.

I'm Tony Carrity along with the Senator, Brad Howe, and Hoppy Kirchival.

Be quite honest with you.

Before we began to tape, we had discussion here today as to whether or not to even do this podcast in light of what took place this weekend in Las Vegas,

and that story continues to develop.

And now the news that there was one of the victims,

at least one at this point, from the state of West Virginia.

So obviously, our deepest condolences and our thoughts and our prayers are with everyone involved,

and there are no words that that we can use to try to put that aside. But we thought it would be improper for us to

start or at least to even record without paying our respects. Absolutely. Absolutely. And the woman

from West Virginia was killed is Denise Briditis.

She and her husband, Tony, were at the Jason Aldeen concert,

and she was among the 58 shot and killed.

So our thoughts and prayers go out not only to her family,

but to all the victims in this horrible mass shooting.

But there will still be games played played and people will still be attending.

And I know that all this week, Tony, as people get ready to go to games or think about those things,

the tragedy will not be too far from the minds of people.
