Here's the beauty of the first weekend of the season being over.

Because it's still new, it's still exciting, baseball's back.

Yes, we've got six more months of it. But it's new. It's fresh. This is our chance to over-exaggerate to everything we saw over a sample size of three games. So, Tick, what's your first over-exaggeration? The New York Yankees might have the best rotation in all of baseball. They've given up one run, one run, in three games. And that's with Will Warren pitching a third game of the season. So the Yankees look dominant against the Giants. Now, this might just be that the Giants aren't good right now. Don't do that. You know why? I've got to defend the Giants here. Last year when the Yankees just blitzkrieg the Milwaukee Brewers, people said that about Milwaukee. Oh, well, maybe they're just not good. Well, you don't

know about the Giants because they have basically a college manager man in his squad right now.

They've kind of overwhelmed getting his sea leg, so to speak. And so the Yankees took advantage

of it. But this is what a bully team like the Yankees

should do. You get an inferior management situation or manager situation, take advantage of it.

And that's what they did. So give them credit, but their rotation looked amazing. It was awesome.

Oh, no doubt about it. I think that the Yankees having the best rotation in the American League is on

the table. It's something I thought coming into the season. So I would qualify that is not an over-exaggeration. I mean, look, things are going to be different when you get- What else can you exaggerate with the Yankees? You already said they're going to be the best team in the American League. That's true. best teams the best teams in baseball. So what else could you say? There was a lot of confirming with the Yankees this weekend. You know, Cam Schlittler looked incredibly dominant, and the only thing that stopped him was a restrictive pitch count. Aaron Judge hit two more home runs. The Yankees were efficient with ABS. Bednar looked amazing. The biggest over-exaggeration I got, and it kind of pissed me off. In a text chain I'm in, Sean Morash said, end I quote, as soon as Evan said the Yankee bullpen was a worry, I knew they'd be the best in baseball. So Sean's already declared three games into the season that the New York Yankees have the best bullpen in baseball. I mean, if we're being truthful, Deval and Bednar, the way they look this weekend, early signs of Mariano and Wetland in 96. I mean, it's the truth. Here's another over-exaggeration for you. Is Ben Rice going to win the gold glove as a first baseman? He looked good. He did. He looked good.
